Week 5: Newman Center

This week I had enough time to stop by the Newman Center. It's essentially a hangout spot for students to hang out at, regardless of faith, etc. I stopped by for adoration. Adoration is a form of deep worship and reverence, often directed toward God, where believers express love, awe, and devotion. In Catholic and Christian traditions, it can also refer to Eucharistic Adoration, where the Blessed Sacrament is displayed for silent prayer and reflection.
After Prayer:  It felt really good to sit and speak with God for a while. It was such a relaxing and peaceful time. Sometimes my head fills with so much anxiety I can feel my brain vibrating with such energy. It felt like a nice release, even if it was 45 minutes. Thanks be to God for gifting me the gift of a safe space and open communication.
