Week 9: Gym
Walking in faith via the gym has been such a blessing. I decided to walk with God this week, and I must evolve to incorporate him into my daily habits and hobbies. I adjusted my playlist to add Catholic or Godly music, and it was such a nice, zen feeling. This day was leg day; lifting weights while listening to slow, holy music was a whole other experience. It's like the polar opposite—the juxtaposition. It was a mental challenge to continue the pace of my reps whilst listening to slow music, but honestly, it was a good mental game. By the end of the workout, I learned to separate my pain from my body, mentally, of course. I remember I had two more reps for goblet squats, and I kept going by letting go of all the pain and body stress. I did them so well. 10/10 recommend. Bless be to God for the ability to push myself past self-limiting beliefs.
