Week 2: The Chosen

 

This week I decided to watch The Chosen. The show is about Jesus and his life from the beginning to his being resurrected. It's such a good way to visualize the Bible and experience it in another manner of sense. I watched episode 5 for this week. In the episode, Jesus and His followers attend a wedding in Cana. This would bring great shame to the family. Jesus' mother, Mary, notices and urges Him to help. Though Hesitating, He ultimately performs His first public miracle: turning water into wine. Meanwhile, Peter worries about financial struggles, and Nicodemus, a religious leader, continues searching for answers about Jesus. Thomas, a wine caterer, witnesses the miracle firsthand, planting the seeds of his faith. This moment marks the beginning of Jesus revealing His divine power to the world. 

FINAL REACTION: It was a really good episode and so far it's been movie quality. 10/10 Recommend.
